CAPITOLA, Santa Cruz County — October 25, 2026. Capitola residents researching the October 22 City Council meeting have an alternative way to access the documents. The city says its agenda management system experienced intermittent outages during the week and responded by publishing direct links to the meeting agenda and full packet.

Where are the agenda and meeting packet?

On its official All Meetings: Agendas & Minutes page, the city provides separate links marked Agenda and Agenda Packet for Thursday, October 22. Residents can use those direct city-provided links if the normal agenda-management portal becomes unavailable.

Agenda packets can include supporting reports, staff recommendations, proposed resolutions and other materials used in public deliberations. An agenda packet shows what was placed before the Council; it does not necessarily show which motions passed. The later official minutes or meeting video are more appropriate for confirming outcomes.

How to review the meeting after it occurs

The city says its meeting center includes video recordings of City Council and Planning Commission meetings. It cautions that YouTube-generated captions or transcripts are automated and might contain inaccuracies. For a disputed statement or quotation, consult the official documents and video recording rather than relying on an automated transcript alone.

Those interested in upcoming municipal meetings can also check the city homepage and events calendar. For civic information and local news, visit Capitola News.
